- Bersihkan ikan, lalu goreng hingga agak garing. Sisihkan.
- Haluskan bumbu. Sambil lalu potong-potong wortel, tomat, & mentimun. Potong korek api tapi agak tebal seperti membuat acar.
- Panaskan minyak, lalu tumis bumbu halus, lengkuas, daun jeruk, sereh, & daun salam hingga layu.
- Tambahkan air, aduk2 hingga meletup-letup. Kemudian masukkan ikan, wortel, mentimun, tomat, & cabe rawit. Aduk-aduk hingga bumbu tercampur rata. Matikan api, lalu hidangkan.
